Sunday Mornings with Kids and Youth
Infant & Toddler Nurseries
The nursery program provides care on Sunday morning for infants and toddlers. The purpose of the program is to care for small children in a safe and nurturing environment while their parents are in worship. The toddler program introduces basic ideas about God's love and following Jesus. Contact: Sandy Rainey (infants); Melissa Morton (toddlers) office@nbuc.on.ca
KFC (Kids for Christ)
KFC is our ministry with children on Sunday mornings. The goal is to help children grow and develop a relationship with the God who made them and loves them.
We believe that our most effective way to nurture the spiritual lives of our kids is to equip parents and families to take responsibility to raise "brothers and sisters of Jesus" and be instrumental in this work.
The KFC team supports parents by having weekly take-home sheets to reinforce lessons. It offers occasional "family events" where families do these things together. The team also offers print resources to help parents lead simple prayer and worship in their homes. If you're interested in this rewarding ministry, contact Heather Stevenson in person or by e-mail at office@nbuc.on.ca
Jr. High Chat Room
During worship, youth in grades 6 through 8 meet 11:00 a.m. with adult mentors for discussion of faith issues appropriate to their stage of life. If you're interested in working with this age group, contact Debbie Johnson at office@nbuc.on.ca
CBW (Breakfast, Candles, Worship)
During the morning services, high school youth meet for breakfast, prayer, and worship together. People interested in this area should contact Debbie Johnson at office@nbuc.on.ca
