Welcoming and Hospitality
Greeters & Ushers
Ushers and greeters are the front-end of the Sunday morning experience-the people who welcome all of us to NBUC, whether it's their first time or their 500th! Their job includes helping people find their way around, distributing bulletins, taking the offering, and dealing with the little challenges that arise during services.
Contacts: Anne Parker, Silvia Farias, Terry Varga at office@nbuc.on.ca
Parking Team
The Parking Teams greets people as they arrive at church, makes sure they get a warm welcome, can find a parking spot, and can get into the church safely. If you're interested in this very important ministry, contact Julie Atkinson at the church office: office@nbuc.on.ca
Information Desk
This team helps people find their way around the church, answers common questions, manages sign-ups, and does its best to make the Sunday morning experience one where the little things don't get in the way of engaging God. If you're interested in this communication and hospitality ministry, contact Julie Atkinson at the church office: office@nbuc.on.ca
Coffee Team
A big part of life at North Bramalea is building community and coffee is a crucial part of community! This team prepares and serves coffee and tea for the hundreds of people who attend services each week. It's one of the best ways to get to know lots of NBUC people. If you're interested, contact the office: office@nbuc.on.ca
Counters
The Counters' Team tallies the offerings every Sunday morning. Two people work each Sunday until both have exactly the same numbers. They also prepare the deposit for the bank. Skills required: attention to detail and patience! Contact Dave McGregor via the office office@nbuc.on.ca
