Sunday Mornings for Children and Youth
Children and youth join the whole congregation in worship for about 1/3 of the service. Then they go to groups to look at faith in more age-appropriate ways. Some of the children also offer leadership to the service through the Kids' Choir.
Infant & Toddler Nurseries
The nursery program provides care on Sunday morning for infants and toddlers. The purpose of the program is to care for small children in a safe and nurturing environment while their parents are in worship. The toddler program introduces basic ideas about God's love and following Jesus. Contact: Sandy Rainey (infants); Melissa Morton (toddlers)
KFC (Kids for Christ)
KFC is our ministry with children on Sunday mornings. The goal is to help children grow and develop a relationship with the God who made them and loves them
We believe that our most effective way to nurture the spiritual lives of our kids is to equip parents and families to take responsibility to raise "brothers and sisters of Jesus" and be instrumental in this work. The KFC team supports parents by having weekly take-home sheets to reinforce lessons. It offers occasional "family events" where families do these things together. The team also offers print resources to help parents lead simple prayer and worship in their homes.
Sunday Mornings for Youth
Jr. High Chat Room
Jr. High Chat Room meets during Sunday morning worship. It's a place for young teens (grades 6-8) to talk about issues of faith and life in an informal environment.
Candles, Breakfast & Worship (Grades 9-12)
CBW is a fellowship, worship and prayer experience for high school youth. Meets on Sunday morning during the 11:00 service. The group also explores topics relevant to the challenges in our culture for high school people as followers of Christ.
